About Chris Blackburn
I’m Chris Blackburn. I’m a husband, a dad of two teenage girls, an Army veteran, and a public servant.
Right now, I serve as Chief Deputy Treasurer here in Scioto County. That means I work in the details every day. Balancing accounts, tracking payments, reconciling reports, and making sure the numbers match. It is not glamorous work, but it is the kind of work that protects the public’s money.
I’m running for Scioto County Auditor because I believe local government should be accurate, steady, and understandable. People should not have to “know someone” or dig through paperwork to figure out what something means, why it changed, or where money is going.
My style is simple:
• Tell the truth.
• Show the work.
• Fix what is broken.
• Treat people with respect.
If you trust me with this job, my goal is to run an Auditor’s office that is professional, responsive, and transparent, with modern tools that make the information easier for normal people to find and understand.
